Disney Junior: Instagram & Web Printables

On July 4, 2015, Disney Junior (now Disney Jr.) launched their official Instagram account. While working for design agency WeLoveButterfly we were given full ownership of the social media account and tasked with the goal of growing it's following from ground zero. Since the demographic of children who watch Disney Junior are not of social media account age, instead we targeted engagement with their adult parents and used the channel to portray all the glories and failures of parenthood. We utilized current toys in market from current Disney Junior TV shows available at the time to use as subjects, and combined them with stock photography to create stories and design posts that resonated with parents. In a little over a year, we helped them build their Instagram following organically from 0 to 100K+ followers in a year of owning the social media account. In addition, I also designed and illustrated various coloring pages, printables and activity sheets for parents to download and print at home from the Disneyjunior.com website.
